Alchemy Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Longitude mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use the App.
Summary
Longitude is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any server we operate. The App has zero third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or location
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
- We do not serve advertisements or share data with ad networks
- We do not track your usage behavior or create user profiles
Data That Stays on Your Device
All clock configurations, group settings, preferences, and app data are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is accessible only to the Longitude app and its widget extension through a shared App Group container.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your clock data may sync across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is managed entirely by Apple's infrastructure:
- Data is stored in your personal iCloud account
- We do not have access to your iCloud data
- You can disable iCloud sync in your device's Settings

Purchases
In-app purchases (subscriptions and one-time purchases) are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Purchase records are managed by Apple's App Store infrastructure.
City Search Data
The App includes a bundled database of city and timezone information derived from the GeoNames geographical database. This data is stored within the App itself. City searches are performed entirely offline on your device — no network requests are made when you search for a city.
Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App does not require any personal information to function.
Third-Party Services
Longitude uses zero third-party libraries, SDKs, or services. The App is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, WidgetKit, StoreKit, CloudKit).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
