The Challenge
Finding quality, trustworthy care for aging loved ones has long been a challenge. Seniors often face isolation, uncertainty, and a lack of confidence in digital tools, while care providers struggle to reach clients who genuinely need their services. The existing solutions in the marketplace were either too clinical or too commercial — missing the warmth, clarity, and usability seniors and their families require. Ooldie’s founders envisioned a platform that could change this dynamic: a space where care connections feel personal, interactions are transparent, and both sides are empowered through technology rather than intimidated by it. The challenge was building a digital experience that felt deeply human while managing the operational complexity of a two-sided service marketplace — including matching, scheduling, communication, and billing.

Clock In/Clock Out tracking that automatically generates transparent timesheets for clients.
