NoCode Project Management
Project Overview
The NoCode Project Management site was originally built on Bubble to support the promotion and sale of NoCode Project Management, a book by Chris Schrade. The book lays out a clear, practical system for managing app-building projects from initial idea to final delivery. Drawing on Chris’s experience leading hundreds of no-code projects, it gives founders, freelancers, and small agencies a mental model for breaking down complex builds into manageable milestones, communicating effectively with developers, estimating costs realistically, and navigating common roadblocks like bugs, scope creep, and refinements. More than a technical manual, NoCode Project Management emphasizes the human side of collaboration—bridging the gap between visionary founders and detail-oriented builders. The framework equips readers with both organizational strategies and soft skills needed to guide projects smoothly, avoid wasted time and money, and ultimately deliver products that work.
The Challenge
The original Bubble app served its purpose in the beginning, but it had limitations. The design was basic, the monthly subscription costs weren’t justifiable—especially after deciding to make the PDF free as a precursor to BLDRS OS (a project management platform that carries forward the spirit of the book)—and SEO suffered since the site was essentially just a single-page marketing and purchase flow.
Our Solution
We reimagined the site with a fresh design and rebuilt it on Next.js. The result was a modern, fast-loading site with virtually no ongoing costs. Performance scores in Lighthouse improved by nearly 50%, reaching close to perfect 100s across Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO.
