Today’s Pills — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Today’s Pills (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Today’s Pills is a medication and supplement reminder application for iOS. The App helps you track medication schedules and receive reminders. The App is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Today’s Pills is a scheduling and reminder tool only. The App does not:

Provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations
Verify the accuracy of medication names, dosages, or schedules you enter
Check for drug interactions or contraindications
Replace consultation with your doctor, pharmacist, or healthcare provider

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the medication information you enter. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding your medications.

Do not rely solely on this App for critical or life-sustaining medication reminders. Technology can fail — notifications may not deliver due to device settings, software updates, battery state, or other factors outside our control. Maintain backup reminder methods for critical medications.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Account

No account is required. The App does not require registration, login, or any personal information to function.

6. Free and Pro Tiers

The App offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier:

Free: Track up to 5 medications with Time Sensitive notifications, small and lock screen widgets, 30-day history, dark mode, and accessibility features.
Pro: Unlimited medications, escalating reminders, medium and large interactive widgets, full adherence calendar, and data export.

Pro is available as:

Monthly subscription: $2.99/month
Annual subscription: $14.99/year
Lifetime purchase: $24.99 (one-time)

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Current prices are always displayed in the App before purchase.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple’s terms for auto-renewable subscriptions:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless canceled.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

8. Lifetime Purchase

The lifetime Pro purchase is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It grants permanent access to Pro features for the purchasing Apple ID. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product — it remains valid as long as Today’s Pills is available and compatible with your device.

9. Your Data

All medication data, schedules, adherence history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, access, or store your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for backing up your device. If you delete the App or lose your device without a backup, your data cannot be recovered by us.

10. Intellectual Property

Today’s Pills, including its design, code, icons, and content, is owned by AlchemyApps. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
Redistribute or resell the App or its content
Use the App in any way that could damage or impair its functionality

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
Notifications will always be delivered on time or at all
The App will be compatible with all devices or OS versions
Defects will be corrected

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALCHEMYAPPS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, HEALTH OUTCOMES, MISSED MEDICATIONS, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlchemyApps from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time. If we discontinue the App, active subscriptions will not be renewed, and no further charges will occur.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which AlchemyApps operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
